Glowing Skin with Elmis Body Oil |

It is no surprise that I love taking care of myself, I mean who doesn’t?

Most of us don’t realise that we need to pamper ourselves from time to time because it is all part of self-love.

For my monthly shopping spree at BasharaCare I couldn’t resist getting the Elemis Japanese Camellia Body Oil .  I love pampering myself by having a home spa day and I thought this would be the perfect addition to my routine.

Elmis Japanese Camellia Body Oil Blend | Basasharacare

Elemis Japanese Camellia Body Oil Blend

Let me admit that the term body oil kind of struck me as I had the image of this layer on my skin and oil patches on my clothes etc anyway it was not a pretty one. However, I know that in life its best to try things before judging them and I am so glad I did.

The base oil used in this blend sweet almond oil and apparently it should be used daily on wet skin “slightly towel dried” but still moist.

Although I received the oil a couple of days after placing my order with Basharacare, I like to use the products before reviewing them. As you can see from the picture I have used quite a bit of oil already and I am loving the results.

What I liked

Upon applying it i was surprised at how quickly my skin absorbed the oil. I also loved the fact that it kept my skin moisturised throughout the day. Elmis have several body oils but I chose this one due to the fact that it is made with Japanese Camellia Oil which is a flower.

According to Wawaza,  “Japanese Camellia oil is a rich source of Palmistic and Omega-6 Linoleic fatty acids, as well as numerous anti-aging polyphenol antioxidants. It is non-greasy and an excellent all-around moisturizer for skin as well as for hair.”

I am a sucker for smelling good and expected it to be fragrant but was slightly disappointed that it didn’t smell of any flowers or of anything really. Nevertheless the results it gave me compensated for the lack of fragrance having soft smooth not to mention glowing skin was convincing enough for me.

The design of the bottle is so sleek and elegant something that you wouldn’t mind displaying in your bathroom.

It retails for 22.400 OMR which is 100ml. Bare in mind that a little goes a long way so I personally feel that you get your money’s worth.

I started incorporating this is my home spa routine but also on the evenings where I want that extra moisture before heading to bed.

Just a final reminder

We often forget that in order to take care of others we first must take care of yourself…
