Dressing modestly is a constant struggle so you can imagine how finding an Eid outfit which is modest yet chic is always a challenge for me.
However I think I have the key to pulling it off, it’s to be simple.
Pictures were taken by my daughter Hadeel aged 10 years old (ma sha Allah)
Totally fell in love with the design of this cape, the long sleeves makes a nice change from the usual 3/4 sleeves cape designs and absolutely love how the front overlaps which cover the chest.
This cape is a must for every hijabi wardrobe!
I seem to always pair blue with white and red however a fuchsia or lime green clutch would total blend it as well.
The Omani silver necklace adds an Omani touch which completes the outfit, don’t you think?
Being able to express my self through fashion is something I am starting to enjoy, although it is a challenge as a muhajaba however I believe that beauty lies in simplicity.
I hope you had a lovely Eid al fitir and may Allah accept your fasting, prayers and supplications.
