I was asked by one of my followers on snapchat to talk about how to feel confident. I loved the topic because it is so important to have confidence in yourself. Life can be very cruel sometimes and there are times where you will need to look into yourself for strength.
Hoping that the points below will have you in realising that you have got what it takes to be confident.
Learn Love yourself for all that you are, with your perfect imperfections! Remember that no one is perfect and honestly no one will ever be so why not learn to love yourself instead?
By that I also mean the way you talk to you, don’t bring yourself down or be mad at yourself the world is already filling that role, just be there for YOU!
Trust yourself to know that you have it takes to do whatever you set your mind to do. If someone else can do it, so can you!
We really need to stop being afraid of making mistakes. I mean let’s be honest with each other everyone makes mistakes. It’s how we learn and it proves that we are trying. So take it as a learning point and don’t be yourself about it. Just pick yourself up and continue on your journey…
“Treat people the way you want to be treated” In other words be a good person, someone you would want to have as a friend. Be respectful, be honest, be kind, have integrity and values.
Schedule time out of your day and/or week to dedicate to taking care of your self. Not only will you look good you will feel good too.
Even though we have different personalities, we are all in this together. We have similar fears, hopes and dreams we some who meet down the line.
You know those obstacles you have overcome? the moments you thought you couldn’t do this anymore..well these moments are what I like to call “defining moments” as they define your personality. So be proud of yourself as you wouldn’t be who you today if you didn’t go through those experiences.
Remember that life is a journey as much as we focus on the goal let us not forget to enjoy the journey.
