Being happy has always been my aim in life, no matter what I am going through I want to be able to smile at the end of it.
You often hear the following phrase “as long as you are happy that is what matters”.
Through my blog my goal is to inspire women to lead a life they love, a life they deserve in other words a life that makes them grateful to be in.
I am sure there many definitions of happiness however to me being happy is a state of mind where everything is OK, and if it is not OK it is not the end.
I had to pause for a moment before answering that question. When you are not in the best of moods, what is it that you do that changes your mood?
Recently I have come to realise that there isn’t one thing that makes me happy but several things that changes my mood.
*News Flash* you are in charge of how you feel.
You are the captain of your emotions, we are brought up thinking that other people will/should make you happy and personally I don’t agree. I believe we have it in us to be happy we just need to learn how to attain it. In addition I don’t think that I want my happiness to depend on someone other than myself!
Having said that, this doesn’t mean we should be happy all the time as that isn’t realistic. We will go through a wave of emotions which is expected to happen in life as long as we are able to pick ourselves up again and focus on what truly matters. Remember that there are people who are happy living with less than you have.
Because being happy is good for you 🙂 you deserve to be happy, everyone does!
You owe it to yourself to live a life you love, a life you deserve and that can only be achieved by being content with what you have and knowing that life doesn’t have to be perfect to be wonderful.
